Agreement to terms
By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.
Description of services
Zen Utrecht provides yoga classes, meditation sessions, and related wellness services at our studio location in Utrecht, Netherlands. Services include group classes, private sessions, and wellness programs as described on our website.
Registration and booking
To book classes, you must:
- Be at least 16 years of age
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your booking information
- Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your booking account.
Payment terms
Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged. We accept various payment methods as indicated during the booking process. All prices are in Euros and include applicable taxes.
Packages and memberships
- Class packages are valid for the period specified at purchase
- Packages are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person with advance notice
- Monthly unlimited memberships auto-renew unless cancelled at least 48 hours before the renewal date
- Unused classes or sessions do not roll over beyond the validity period
Cancellation and refund policy
Class cancellations by students
- Cancellations made at least 12 hours before class: Full credit retained for future use
- Cancellations made less than 12 hours before class: Class is forfeited
- No-shows: Class is forfeited with no credit
Class cancellations by studio
If we need to cancel a class due to instructor illness or unforeseen circumstances, you will receive full credit for that class or a full refund if preferred.
Refunds
- Single class purchases: Refundable up to 24 hours before the scheduled class
- Class packages: Non-refundable after purchase, but may be transferred
- Monthly memberships: No refunds for partial months; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
Health and safety
By participating in our classes, you acknowledge that:
- Yoga involves physical activity that carries inherent risks
- You are responsible for knowing your physical limits
- You should consult a healthcare provider before beginning any new physical activity
- You must inform instructors of any injuries, medical conditions, or limitations that may affect your practice
- You participate at your own risk
Assumption of risk and liability waiver
You understand and agree that:
- Physical activity involves risks including injury, strain, or in rare cases, more serious health incidents
- You voluntarily participate with knowledge of these risks
- Zen Utrecht, its instructors, and staff are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from your participation
- You waive any claims against Zen Utrecht for injuries or damages arising from participation in classes or use of facilities
Code of conduct
To maintain a respectful and safe environment for all, you agree to:
- Arrive on time for classes (late arrivals may not be admitted)
- Respect other students and instructors
- Keep the studio space clean and return props to their designated locations
- Silence mobile phones during classes
- Refrain from wearing strong fragrances
- Follow instructor guidance and studio rules
We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate memberships for disruptive behavior, harassment, or violation of studio policies.
Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and class materials, is the property of Zen Utrecht and protected by copyright laws. You may not:
- Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without permission
- Use our content for commercial purposes
- Record or photograph classes without prior written consent
Photography and recording
We occasionally photograph or record classes for promotional purposes. By attending classes, you consent to being photographed or recorded and grant us the right to use these materials in our marketing. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform the instructor before class.
Website use
You agree not to:
- Use the website for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Introduce viruses or malicious code
- Interfere with other users' access to the website
- Scrape or harvest data from the website
Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
Disclaimer of warranties
Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee:
- Specific health outcomes or results from participation
